Join a high-impact Data Engineering organization where you will partner with our Business stakeholders and Data Engineering team to design and develop data solutions for data science, analytics and reporting. ETL Developers work with large teams, including onshore and offshore developers, using best-in-class technologies including BigQuery, Teradata, Informatica, and Hadoop. You will design, development and implement enterprise data integration solutions with opportunities to grow in responsibility, work on exciting and challenging projects, train on new technologies and lead other Developers to set the future of the Data Warehouse.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise data ingestion and integration workflows across batch, near real-time, and real-time patterns
  • Partner with business analysts, product owners, data modelers, technical directors, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient ETL solutions
  • Create, maintain, and update ETL specifications, technical documentation, data mappings, and implementation artifacts
  • Develop, tune, debug, and optimize complex SQL and ETL processes across data warehouse and cloud platforms
  • Build data solutions using technologies such as Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Teradata, BigQuery, Hadoop, and related enterprise data platforms
  • Apply data integration best practices to support data quality, automation, performance, resiliency, and operational excellence
  • Lead medium-sized ETL delivery efforts, coordinate work across onshore, offshore, and vendor teams, and ensure successful delivery with minimal defects
  • Define and execute unit testing, data validation, quality checks, and implementation readiness activities for ETL deliverables
  • Support production implementations, issue triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of data integration processes
  • Advocate for agile practices and process improvements that increase delivery efficiency and team effectiveness
 
 

 

 

What you have


 

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of overall technology experience, including significant hands-on experience as an ETL Developer or ETL Lead supporting data warehouse and enterprise data integration projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead ETL delivery efforts and deliver projects with minimal defects
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with data integration tools such as Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • 5–7 years of experience working with data warehouse platforms such as Teradata and Big Data/Hadoop environments
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery
  • Strong SQL experience with the ability to develop, tune, troubleshoot, and debug complex SQL applications
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing data ingestion workflows across batch, near real-time, and real-time patterns
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including logical and/or physical data models
  • Expertise in schema design and proven ability to work with complex data structures and enterprise-scale datasets
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M or ESP
  • Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts with hands-on experience using tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
  • Experience working in Unix environments, including basic shell scripting
  • Experience working in Agile delivery frameworks using tools such as Jira or Rally
  • Advanced understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), development standards, and production implementation practices
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business, technology, vendor, offshore, and cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, multiple projects, and strict deadlines
