Senior Product Manager, Alternative Investments & Structured Products
Your opportunity
At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the industry together.
As part of Schwab Investment Platforms, Solutions, and Strategy (SIPSS), you will join a product-and-offer enterprise responsible for defining the future of Schwab’s investment products, platforms, and client experiences. SIPSS brings together investment product strategy, offer management, platform strategy, and business execution, enabling Schwab to accelerate innovation and deliver differentiated solutions to clients and advisors.
Within SIPSS, this role sits in Investment Offers & Solutions (IOS) and focuses on Schwab’s alternative and structured investments business. IOS is responsible for defining strategy and delivering enhancements across mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income, 529 plans, managed accounts, alternative investments, structured products, insurance, and annuities.
This is an investment product strategy and offer management role—not a technology product management or development role. Success is driven by strategic thinking, executive influence, opportunity identification, recommendation development, business-case creation, market analysis, and leadership communication. The role does not own software engineering teams, Agile delivery processes, technical backlogs, or release management.
The Senior Product Strategy Manager will help shape the future direction of alternative and structured investment offers through strategic analysis, operating-model development, offer management, and cross-functional leadership. This individual will work closely with senior leaders, business partners, issuers, and external providers to improve advisor and client experiences, drive business growth, strengthen operating capabilities, and inform strategic decision making.
