The Role

The Product Manager (PM) – Net Worth & Cashflow is accountable for the enterprise product strategy, investment direction, and business outcomes of Fidelity’s Net Worth, Cashflow, Budgeting, and Aggregation capabilities. These capabilities form the foundation of Fidelity’s Financial Planning & Advice experience and support tens of millions of clients across Wealth, Brokerage, Workplace, and Institutional businesses.

This role drives product vision, opportunity intake, prioritization, and success metrics, ensuring Fidelity delivers intuitive, data-driven financial organization experiences that increase planning readiness and client confidence. The PM partners closely with Engineering, Architecture, Design, Data, and Business leaders, influencing delivery and technical decisions without owning engineering execution. Success is measured by portfolio-level client impact, adoption, and business outcomes. This role can be hired at Director or VP level, depending on skills.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 - 15 + years’ experience in product leadership or general management roles with enterprise scope
  • Deep expertise in financial planning, wealth management, or consumer financial platforms
  • Demonstrated success defining and implementing enterprise product strategies tied to measurable client and business outcomes
  • Validated ability to influence outcomes across complex, highly regulated, matrixed organizations
  • Strong executive communication, decision-making, and partner alignment capabilities
  • Experience defining vision and strategy for end-to-end customer experiences across digital and advisor-led channels
  • Track record of translating customer needs into scalable product strategies, business cases, and investment priorities
  • Strong analytical demeanor with experience establishing critical metrics tied to customer outcomes, engagement, and adoption
  • Ability to assess competitive, regulatory, and industry trends (e.g., data aggregation ecosystems, permissioned data) and translate into actionable strategy
  • Experience partnering across business units and functions to deliver integrated solutions that deepen customer relationships and drive growth

The Financial Planning & Advice Product team delivers market-leading planning capabilities and services to more than 10 million customers across Wealth, Brokerage, and Workplace businesses. We take a customer-first approach to deliver a unified planning experience—bringing together digital-first capabilities with advisor-supported experiences, powered by scalable platforms and tools. Our work spans the full spectrum of planning needs, from foundational financial wellness for early accumulators to complex planning for high-net-worth clients.

This team partners closely across Fidelity—including Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Strategic Advisers Inc. (SAI)—to evolve planning methodologies, deepen adoption of products and solutions, and deliver measurable customer outcomes. Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$264,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
