The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architect to join our team in support of introduction of cloud like services in our on-premise datacenters . The candidate should possess a deep technical background in modern infrastructure deployment, management, and security practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain enterprise guardrails, including naming standards, tagging policies, subscription/account structures and resource organization.
  • Develop enterprise-level architecture standards for networking, IAM, security, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering, promoting good practices and adherence to architectural design standards.
  • Work closely with IT product owners and business users to understand their needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Development of IAM practices and RBAC model to integrate seamlessly with cloud platforms, applications, and automation frameworks.
  • Define metrics, thresholds, and dashboards to provide platform level observability
  • Design a FinOps model providing transparency and enabling resource consumption chargeback.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-cloud strategies in AWS and Azure along with on-premise workloads.
  • In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, virtualization, containerization and serverless architecture.
  • Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code , CI/CD pipelines, and platform engineering practices.
  • Solid understanding of Zero Trust security principles and identity access management
  • Ability to provide high-quality visuals and documentation that conveys system architecture to various audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
