  • Support the development team in adhering to defined project management methodologies and delivery practices

  • Coach the development team and broader organization on best practices and effective ways of working

  • Partner with the Client Delivery Lead to ensure all work is properly tracked, team capacity is optimized, and workloads are balanced across team members

  • Collaborate with the Client Delivery Lead to plan and execute high-priority work aligned to the quarterly roadmap

  • Guide the team in adopting delivery best practices and values to enhance both internal and external customer satisfaction

  • Translate product features into clear, concise user stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria

  • Maintain a strong focus on execution by proactively identifying, escalating, and removing team blockers

  • Reinforce organizational ways of working, including practices, team norms, and meetings to improve overall program performance and efficiency

  • Work effectively across technology, business, and operational teams within an enterprise environment

  • Adapt quickly to changes in priorities and direction in a fast-paced environment

  • Promote consistent delivery practices and contribute to process improvements that enhance team performance and efficiency

  • Collaborate with Product Area leaders, Client Delivery Leads, Software Engineering leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution

  • Support the delivery of phased and incremental objectives while maintaining alignment with broader organizational goals

  • Facilitate cross-team meetings to ensure alignment, transparency, and coordination across teams

  • Track and manage key dependencies as well as technical impediments impacting delivery

  • Develop artifacts that communicate business and technical requirements, including user stories (functional and non-functional), process maps, workflows, and system diagrams

  • Continuously incorporate new information and evolving requirements into delivery plans effectively and seamlessly

  • Identify and analyze defects by assessing severity, business impact and technical complexity to prioritize resolution effectively

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Strong delivery background with the ability to lead as a Delivery and Systems Coordinator (or similar role) within a development team focused on disciplined delivery principles and best practices

  • Experience working with enterprise tools such as Confluence, FlowMetrics, Jira, and Miro

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in technical agility, including DevOps, CI/CD, branching and merging strategies, and deployment strategies

  • Ability to identify and assess technology solutions, including understanding both technical and operational (people/process) dependencies

  • Knowledge of established patterns and techniques to address process gaps, including burn-down tracking, retrospective facilitation, and managing business feedback and defects

  • Proven ability to create, interpret, and report on delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement, accountability, and successful delivery outcomes

  • Strong passion for mentoring teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

  • Strong proficiency in delivery practices, processes, and documentation within a software development environment

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, CBAP, or Scrum certification) are a plus but not required

  • Knowledge of cloud concepts, middle-tier architectures (APIs), and web applications built on Angular

  • Financial services industry experience preferred

The Team

The Fidelity Workplace Consulting Group is made up of over 600 professionals who advise clients on the management of their domestic and global benefits. We are a fast-growing business within Fidelity, offering a broad range of services that span benefits design, strategy, funding, communication, and delivery. Many of our team leaders bring experience from other leading consulting firms. While we primarily serve Fortune 1000 companies, we also work with Fidelity clients of all sizes ranging from Fortune 50 to tax-exempt market to Fortune 2000. The Digital Solutions team is a shared service within FWC, made up of individuals who lend their skills and expertise towards the implementation, launch and ongoing maintenance of benefits-related microsites, tools, and other online solutions.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
