SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

This position requires a professional who can serve as a recognized authority/advisor and/or senior manager to the Commander/Executive Director/Director/Program Manager.

The duties include:

• Serving as a recognized authority/advisor and/or senior manager to the Commander/Executive Director/Director/Program Manager.
• Making contractual decisions and providing recommendations on procurement policies/procedures.
• Analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing proposed and ongoing procurement and cost and pricing data for highly complex multi-year acquisition of major systems.
• Serving on high-level boards and committees including representation and/or liaison with Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Navy (DON), and Marine Corps (MC).
• Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting priorities, evaluating work performance of subordinates, giving advice or instructing employees, and identifying developmental and training needs.
