Organizational Effectiveness Project Manager

An organization is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Change Management Lead to support a high-visibility enterprise Skills Transformation initiative. This role will lead the people side of change, ensuring successful adoption of new skills-related processes, tools, roles, and ways of working. You'll be responsible for translating complex transformation efforts into clear, actionable adoption strategies that enable leaders, HR partners, and employees to engage with and sustain change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the change management workstream across the full project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, and sustainment.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change strategy aligned with program goals, milestones, and business priorities.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments to identify affected groups, risks, and support needs.
  • Build and manage readiness, adoption, and reinforcement plans for impacted audiences.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, Organizational Effectiveness, project leadership, SMEs, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment on change objectives and sponsorship.
  • Design and execute targeted communication strategies for leaders, managers, HR teams, including talking points, FAQs, and leader enablement tools.
  • Identify resistance risks and organizational barriers; implement mitigation and escalation strategies.
  • Establish feedback loops to collect input from employees and leaders throughout the transformation.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, readiness indicators, and stakeholder engagement; adjust plans as needed.
  • Support governance, reporting, and executive updates on progress, risks, and adoption outcomes.
  • Drive sustainment efforts to reinforce new behaviors, processes, and accountability post-implementation.

Essential Skills

  • 7+ years of experience leading change management for enterprise initiatives, transformation programs, or large-scale process/technology changes.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute change strategies in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, communications, readiness planning, and adoption measurement.
  • Strong facilitation, consulting, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage at all levels of the organization, from senior leadership to frontline teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Background in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with skills-based organizations, talent transformation, HR transformation, operating model shifts, or workforce capability initiatives.
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks such as Prosci or ADKAR.
  • Experience in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting global manufacturing, operations, or enterprise transformation preferred.
  • Ability to connect change plans to business outcomes, employee experience, and long-term sustainment.

Work Environment

This role requires onsite presence. The work environment is dynamic and involves cross-functional collaboration in a global, matrixed setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Petersburg, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.17 - $68.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
