Human Resources Generalist (Hybrid Schedule)
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support organizational performance through employee relations, talent management, and learning initiatives. This role focuses on managing complex employee relations matters, overseeing progressive discipline, administering ADA accommodations, and supporting leadership in driving performance, compliance, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead employee relations, including investigations, policy violations, and workplace concerns
- Manage progressive discipline processes and advise on performance improvement and terminations
- Ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, and employment laws; oversee accommodations and related processes
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent pipelines, and succession planning
- Drive performance management processes and coach leaders on feedback and accountability
- Develop and support learning programs, including a train-the-trainer approach
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Bachelor's degree required; HR certification preferred
- 5+ years of HR experience (employee relations, talent management, L&D)
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance
- Proven experience in employee relations and coaching leaders
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with onboarding, HR administration, and payroll support
- Hybrid schedule

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlebury, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
