The Financial Counselor is responsible for POS payments for patients receiving or who have received services at the facility. This position estimates patient liability for services rendered and communicates with patients regarding financial responsibility. What You Will Need : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
PC skills in a Windows environment are required. Knowledge of Word and Excel are helpful.
Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently.
Medical terminology, data entry, prior admitting, entitlement, business office or physician office experience preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Computer, fax, telephone etiquette a must
