The Role
Are you ready to take on a key role negotiating and managing complex B2B contracts at Fidelity Investments? As a Director of Contracts on the Workplace Investing Contract Team, represent Fidelity in its administration of retirement and compensation benefits, with particular focus on advising Fidelity Stock Plan Services. You will lead negotiations for a wide range of service and transactional agreements, including data privacy agreements, with sophisticated equity compensation plan sponsor clients.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Over 6 years of demonstrated experience in legal, contracts, and/or compliance roles, with expertise in contract, brokerage, retirement, and/or data privacy law
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including exceptional contract drafting, review, and negotiation capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and build consensus
- A dedication to staying current with evolving legal and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to internal business partners
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Texas, New York, and/or Rhode Island
- Law firm or equivalent experience preferred

The Workplace Services Contracts Team is a high-performing group responsible for managing the legal, risk, and business frameworks that govern client service agreements for Workplace Investing clients. The team is known for its collaborative approach with internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the contracting lifecycle.

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-211,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
