Experienced Financial Advisor (Producer)

Position Overview

A growing national wealth management platform is seeking Experienced Financial Advisors who bring an existing book of business and are looking to grow within a highly resourced environment.

This opportunity is ideal for advisors who have built strong client relationships and want to maintain those relationships while gaining access to enhanced infrastructure, planning resources, and a consistent pipeline of new opportunities.

Advisors in this role transition their existing clients onto the platform, receive competitive monetization for their business, and continue to grow through a combination of personal relationships and firm-generated opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transition an existing book of business onto the firm’s platform while maintaining strong client retention
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for clients and deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment advice
  • Partner with internal teams (planning, tax, operations, service) to deliver a high-quality client experience
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through tax planning, estate planning, and holistic wealth management solutions
  • Participate in client onboarding and ensure a smooth transition experience
  • Continue to grow the practice through personal networks, referrals, and firm-provided leads
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership on long-term client strategy and growth initiatives
  • Mentor or support junior advisors where appropriate

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Established financial advisor with a portable book of business (typically $50M+ AUM; $100M+ preferred)
  • Strong client retention history and relationship management skills
  • Background in RIA, hybrid, broker-dealer, bank, or wirehouse environments
  • Interested in moving to a W-2 model with salary, benefits, and platform support
  • Motivated to grow but seeking better infrastructure, support, and scalability
  • Open to partnering within a team-based environment rather than operating independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a producing financial advisor
  • Experience delivering comprehensive financial planning
  • FINRA licenses and/or advisory licensing appropriate for the role
  • CFP, CFA, CIMA, ChFC, or similar designation preferred
  • Experience transitioning or retaining client relationships through a platform change is a plus

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: $150,000–$225,000
  • Monetization of Existing Book: Competitive structure based on revenue and portability
  • Growth Compensation: Additional payout on new revenue and new client acquisition
  • Long-Term Upside: Potential participation in firm growth initiatives and incentives
