Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

The Executive Assistant will directly support the Head of Capital Management and direct reports located in Charlotte. The Executive Assistant is expected to be extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability and skill set to support senior level business executives simultaneously. This position requires an assistant who is anticipatory, resourceful, takes initiative and demonstrates excellent follow-through, and can work with managers to prioritize deliverables.
The successful candidate will demonstrate confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact when proactively dealing with situations, and solving problems.
Candidate must be comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritization with close attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.
This position will perform confidential daily executive office administration. As a result, this assistant interacts on a daily basis with other senior level Wells Fargo leaders, and other executive assistants. This person must present a professional demeanor at all times. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will bring a professional, collaborative, and multitasking demeanor to a role where working with highly confidential information is managed. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful thinker able to anticipate obstacles, creatively unravel them, and take proactive steps to manage circumstances with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of administrative support experience demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting senior level leaders/executives
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to manage changing travel itineraries, accurately manage expense reimbursement, manage a busy calendar and appointments flawlessly
  • Knowledge and understanding of business/executive travel planning
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo Human Resources and timekeeping systems such as: Staff Management, Manage Resources Systems, STAMP and Timetracker)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Ability to identify and assess issues then make sound decisions
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with a diverse team
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant support of senior leader executives in a corporate setting
  • Strong calendar management skills to support Executive time management, including coordination with Operating Committee members and Board of Directors on a routine basis
  • Have an interest in the overall responsibilities of the group and Sr. Leaders, and look for ways to help the group become as efficient as possible
  • Ability to schedule travel and coordinate events, and connect the dots on impacts to other meetings
  • Knowledge/background and familiarity with Wells Fargo systems (Staff Management, Talent Management, My Concur, etc.), preferred
  • Experience supporting project/business initiatives such as planning meetings, tracking deliverables and pulling routine reports
