Is this Payments, Treasury Management and Customer Care Technology (PTCT) is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Software Engineer position. This role will primarily be accountable for delivering an automation strategy for testing of all the applications within the SWIFT and Payment Services. They will be responsible for hands-on application automated test development and maintenance, technology testing strategy, and will bring innovative yet practical ideas to the organization.

The Software Engineer will communicate ideas to all levels for support, adoption, and implementation. They will apply core engineering and automation development principles, practices, and procedures to multiple applications.

In addition, the Software Engineer will multi-task in a fast-paced team oriented environment while developing and maintaining test cases using BDD framework for SWIFT and Payment Applications.

Duties will include:
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, managing all project lifecycle activities associated with high visibility projects that are long-term, across one or more lines of business and carry a substantial impact to the relevant businesses
  • Responsibilities of this position include creation, preparation, and implementation of systems quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts for the ISO20022 Message Gateway/Enterprise Payment Tracker application using Wells Fargo Automation Framework (WAF)
  • Execute end to-end project management using the Enterprise Project Methodology, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end
  • The successful candidate will use independent judgment to perform complex analysis of business requirements and technical system specifications for the purposes of test planning and test scripting Identify, analyze and manage risks, issues and interdependencies
  • Key objectives of this position will be to ensure successful project QA execution and delivery within time lines for both waterfall and agile projects and providing required testing deliverables according to Enterprise Testing Methodology
  • Focus of the successful candidate will be on Automation of test planning and test execution using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) development and execution of automated test scripts. Responsibilities may include Creates and Maintains automation scripts, Prepares End to End Integration Strategy
  • Reviews automation code to ensure standards and processes are followed, and advices on optimization of code, simulation and analysis efforts related to automation and will assist with verification of program logic by participating in the preparation of test data and review of automated script processing flow
  • Provide leadership, direction and coaching to project management staff with partner groups from a manual and automated testing perspective to successfully complete discretionary and non-discretionary work while identifying and mitigating risk
  • Manage project family budgets/forecasting, schedules, and staffing to ensure optimal business results

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
  • 5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
  • 4+ years of SQL experience
  • 1+ years of systems automation experience


Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Agile Scrum (CSM), SAFE certifications or other advanced Agile certifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
  • 1+ year of HP ALM experience


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience administering, supporting or engineeringSWIFT Applications (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication)
  • SWIFT Smart-ISO20022 Adoption Professional/SWIFT Standards Certifications or other related certifications are a plus
  • Experience with domestic and/or international wire payments including SWIFT, Fedwire, and CHIPS
  • 4+ years of SWIFT experience MT and ISO20022 MX messages
  • Strong familiarity with Wells Fargo International Payments Applications


Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
