Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure. Installs, configures, tests and maintains operating systems, application software and system management tools. Ensures the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Maintains security back-up, and redundancy strategies. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Participates in the design of information and operational support systems. Provides 2nd and 3rd level support for Systems and liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area. May assign tasks and/or project resources. Monitors work progress and adherence to technical process controls/standards. Duties also include ensuring high reliability, performance and support for application assigned. Provide 24/7 on call support production environment support. Troubleshooting and root cause analysis on issues in all the supported environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
  • 4+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux OS environment
  • 3+ years of Tomcat administration experience
  • 5+ years of application production support experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level
  • Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management
  • Strong team or technical leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


Other Desired Qualifications
  • F5 Administration (or other hardware load balancer solution)
  • Scripting (Python, Perl, Shell, PowerShell or PHP)
  • Prior experience with CI/CD tools like uDeploy & Jenkins for automating large scale deployments
  • 5+ years' Experience supporting high volume 24x7 mission critical systems.
  • Experience in analyzing, prioritizing and using advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve issues encountered in Production environment
  • Experience in analyzing and tuning applications in the areas such as memory management, process or thread management, resource management.
  • 3+ years of Splunk experience
  • 2+ years of AppDynamic experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, UDeploy (Urbancode Deploy) or a combination of both
