Team member's primary function will be scanning received bills from Taxing Authorities. Secondary function will be processing checks for the Tax department. Team member may be asked to work on other related projects and tasks as needed. Team member must be able to communicate and collaborate well with others. Will work with other areas within Wells Fargo. Must be able to work well with deadlines and be able to prioritize daily tasks. Team member must be adaptable and flexible within an environment of fluctuating work volumes and tasks.

The following responsibilities may be involved as a part of this position:

• Maintain a professional and courteous working relationship with internal and external customers
• Request tax information from internal and external customers
• Exhibit accurate attention to detail when matching detailed information
• Aid in the updating of tax agency information on loan servicing systems
• Respond with appropriate sense of urgency on delicate issues
• Review, route, and process all mail items received
• Identify and communicate tax related issues and trends
• Meet all deadlines with an appropriate sense of urgency

Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of administrative experience, customers/people interaction experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Previous KOFAX experience
  • Mortgage experience
  • Tax experience

Job Expectations

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
