Department Overview

Enterprise Business Process Management is a strategic effort within Wells Fargo to lead and develop a strong process excellence culture, core competencies, and capabilities rooted in continuous and breakthrough improvement to drive increased value for all company stakeholders

About the Role

Collaborate with the Process Engineering Managers and leaders in leading process modelling from a Process Design perspective. Resource would do this in conjunction with Scrum Masters, Process Architects, Modelers, SMEs etc. aligned to LOB. This individual contributor TM will work closely with Enterprise BPM aligned roles like QA and Enterprise Librarians for successful closure of sprints.
Individual will also work closely with the both front line and functional leadership of LOBs in identifying, scoping and design execution opportunities related to process improvements and transformations and re-engineering. He/she shall support both strategic and tactical engagements for LOB


  • Perform design or redesign of processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Analyze, implement and update processes so as to ensure goals are met
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the current processes in order to develop strategies to improve workflow effectiveness
  • Determine critical root cause analysis to drive strategic change to improve the current process environment
  • Train and guide the team on process design improvements
  • Ensure full integration of all processes and linkages in line with the best practices alongside the standards and conventions as set by the organization
  • Manage and lead process design team to achieve process and program objectives
  • Manage multiple sprint teams or initiatives at one time
  • Understand the fundamental concepts of business process mapping and process modelling to provide direction and support during the factory/process modelling lifecycle
  • Provide technical and analytical support on various process strategies
  • Use data and statistical analysis to provide direction and support for project decisions
  • Consolidate data from various sources to formulate recommendations and compose briefings suitable for presenting to senior management
  • Maintain daily/ weekly project and program reporting as needed by the Line of Business / onshore partners
  • Attend various Scrum ceremonies and other Group BPM meetings
  • Control Risks and Dependencies.
  • Remove project obstacles, develop solutions with team
  • Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout sprint lifecycle
  • Ensure all appropriate steps of the Scrum Framework are followed and the best results are achieved.
  • Ensure to attend Sprint reviews and retrospectives as conducted, and document the same so the same is used for further improving the outcomes of subsequent cycles.
  • Report all measures and metrics are captured on agreed frequencies in time to all appropriate stakeholders. Use data visualization techniques to make the reports help leaders take actionable improvements

Market Skills and Certifications

Required Qualifications

  • University Graduate with overall experience on 15+ years
  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma Black belt Certified
  • PMP Certification (Good to have)
  • Has good stakeholder management skills.
  • Works quickly with a high level of accuracy
  • Big Picture perspective / Understands level of detail required, distinguishes relevant from irrelevant information accurately
  • Has good interpersonal skills and is confident in dealing with business users
  • Ability to manage data, good MS office skills Including Excel & PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information, derive the implications, and present them in an effective way, ideally in the Wells Fargo environment.
  • Extensive experience designing and managing large-scale business functional processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Advanced business translation skills - the ability to turn structured and unstructured data into actionable insights that drive business decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience playing a lead role in cross functional or enterprise wide teams and developing collaborative working relationships with a variety of constituents.
  • Solid experience working closely with senior leaders across the enterprise.
  • Ability to manage in a matrixed organization environment.
  • Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives.
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution.
