Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Senior Natural Gas Scheduler: main responsibilities will be nominating physical natural gas on Wells Fargo approved pipelines supporting the physical natural gas traders. Additionally, keeping our system of record, Endur, in-line and lock-step with said electronic bulletin boards. Furthermore, the natural gas scheduling analyst is expected to follow molecules through to completion while over-communicating with external clients, internal business units the trading desk and team members any/all issues that might be associated with the flow of gas.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of capital markets industry experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Excel experience designing and running macros
  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Candidate will have 5+ years of progressive growth as a natural gas scheduler.
  • Team player with extensive knowledge of the physical natural gas landscape and proven ability to nominate natural gas on electronic bulletin boards, especially those Wells Fargo is active.
  • Candidate will have developed pipeline relationships.
  • Candidate will be well versed and comfortable navigating our Energy Trading Risk Management application, Endur, specifically within the module of gMotion, used extensively internally by the scheduling team.
