Job Description:

The Agile Coach is a change agent who demonstrates an agile mindset in all they do when consulting with Senior Agile Leaders &/or Squad Members.  The Agile Coach has a passion for coaching, mentoring, and empowering teams and individuals to transform their behaviors toward a more agile way of working. 


The Team 


This role is part of the Workplace Investing/Advanced Process Solutions/Healthcare/Fidelity Benefits Marketplace agile coaching team.  We support the agile transformation for the groups helping them to grow in knowledge, skill, ability, and maturity.   

 The team’s mission is to support Fidelity in adopting Lean-Agile Values, Principles and Practices to accomplish the organization's strategic objectives.  The Agile Coach works primarily with Squad Members.  


 The Expertise You Have 

  • Passionate in being agile over doing agile 

  • Expertise in the Agile mindset and methodology(s)  

  • Demonstrated leadership experience  

  • Significant competency in relationship building  

  • Successfully implemented and continually improved multiple Agile environments and frameworks 

  • Continual self-improvement and not afraid to challenge the status quo  

  • Ability to influence without authority 

  • Experience in managing and leading teams

  • You demonstrate strong facilitation and training experience 

  • You are skillful in your consulting engagements 

  • You are an effective communicator 

  • You are able to influence others in order to achieve alignment up, down and across the organization 

  • You will lead by example and demonstrate an Agile mindset in your day-to-day work 

The Value You Deliver  

  • Providing coaching, consulting, support, and guidance to leadership, Squad Members, and all relevant stakeholders to influence Agile culture and behaviors  

  • Enabling Workplace Investing/Accounting and Pricing Services/Healthcare/Fidelity Benefits Marketplace to change and improve their way of working 

  • Supporting Domains, Disciplines, Tribes, and Squads to help and support them in achieving their KPIs through: 

  • Taking time to understand the needs of the stakeholders 

  • Don’t solve the problem; help teach/facilitate the learning so others can identify and resolve them 

  • Collaborate across teams, fellow coaches and organizations to help drive success in the firm’s adoption of an Agile mindset 

  • Promote a mindset of inspect and adapt 

  • Ensure risks are identified and escalated appropriately
