Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

This position is within Corporate Trust Services (CTS).

At Wells Fargo, specifically in Commercial Captial - Corporate Trust Services (CTS) - Document Custody we are excited to partner with Residential Mortgage Backed Securities clients to help them succeed with their custodian needs. This CTS Account Associate 1 works closely with Relationship Managers in managing and administering a portfolio of accounts. They assist Relationship Managers in pro-actively handling and resolving customer issues and problems while interfacing with operational areas, internal departments and outside vendors as needed to resolve requests. They may perform daily administration of accounts including set-up, processing, maintenance and oversight according to policies, procedures, regulations. This position will have contact with clients to assist Relationship Managers in resolving requests.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services, customer service, or customer account management experience demonstrated through work or military experience; or a BS/BA degree or higher in business

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills


Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $31,200 Mid: $41,000
