Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs.

The Enterprise Data Remediation team provides four key functions to support the DMI mission:
  • Support for Data Issue Prioritization
  • Data Issue Triage & Disposition
  • Data Issue Assessment & Solution Design
  • Data Issue Remediation (Solution Implementation)

The Enterprise Data Remediation CQA Consultant will be part of the EDR Business Execution Team which provides support for operational activities across EDR, including controls and oversight, communications, reporting, and business process support. This position will report to the EDR/BET Controls and Quality Assurance Lead and provide coordination and operational support across the teams to ensure all policy and data quality standards are met, validation and tracking of internal/external metrics reporting for EDR BAU items as well as trending analysis.

Primary responsibilities within this role include:
  • Create data quality and efficiency reporting across EDR to support standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Provide trending reporting across data quality and management reporting
  • Provide analysis on overall portfolio health of EDR supported issues
  • Assist with the creation of initiatives to enhance efficiency across EDR's business processes and controls
  • Coordinate efforts to increase data quality for fields that impact metrics and status of EDR work efforts to ensure complete and accurate

  • Partner with analytic teams for data quality dashboard creation to address SOR exceptions and workflow reporting


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality, data analysis

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 1+ years of experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
  • 1+ year of financial services industry experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Experience creating reporting in Excel using Pivot Tables and Vlookup formulas
  • Analytical experience reviewing reporting
  • Experience working with work flow management tools (JIRA/Confluence a plus)
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools (Tableau)
  • Experience working in an operations and/or reporting environment
  • Experience with rollout of business processes in a changing, fluid environment
