Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

The Business System Consultant 4 supports the Loan Accounting Transformation Projects for the Loan IQ business consulting team. As a member of the Loan IQ consulting team, the business systems consultant will act as liaison between the client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. The Consultant will document business requirements for desired end state solutions, develop test plans and scripts for user acceptance testing, document changes to user guides and procedures, and provide support for projects throughout the software life-cycle including post-release production support.

  • The successful candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. Hours may change due to business needs.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Ability to provide strong customer service while actively listening and responding in an appropriate manner

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years front-end Loan IQ experience in a consulting, production support, QA or operations role.
  • Knowledge of Loan IQ table structures. SQL desired but not required.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking applications.
  • Business Requirement Documentation, Test planning, test scripting.
  • Demonstrated experience with global implementations of commercial lending applications.
  • Experience converting loans between systems such as from AFS to Loan IQ a strong plus.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $68,200 Mid: $96,000
