Enterprise Data Technology is seeking a Senior Database Analyst/Software Engineer to be part of the WF Auto Data Warehouse team. The candidate will lead the planning, analysis, implementation and maintenance of the data warehouse used within WF Auto team. A successful candidate would have extensive database experience on multiple database platforms and be able to play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining data warehouse environment. The ideal candidate would be proactive, forward thinker, good communicator and focused on successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Respond to data related inquiries in real-time to support business and technical teams.
• Perform various data analytics in SQL or industry accepted tools.
• Provide relational database expertise to construct and execute SQL queries to be used in data analysis activities.
• Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
• Responsible for developing and executing tools to monitor and report on data quality.
• Responsible for establishing appreciation and adherence to the principles of data quality management, including metadata, lineage and business definitions.
• Provide support to Tech teams in managing security mechanisms and data access governance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • 5+ years of data warehouse experience


Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical resources.
  • Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day
  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
  • Auto Finance Industry experience
