Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses. The Commercial Banking Transformation team is looking for an eCapabilities Product Lead to drive delivery of Enterprise capabilities in the Customer Onboarding & Document Lifecycle Management domains, and in partnership with other domains and use cases across Transformation. This role will work closely with the Enterprise Document Management Capabilities team, Smart Content Technology, Enterprise Content Management Technology, multiple Operations teams, and multiple business lines in Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).

This product lead will intake and prioritize use cases across multiple eCapabilities including eSign (DocuSign), Document Exchange (, eNotary, eVault, and Data Extraction. They will be responsible for working with end-users in CB/CIB to understand their high priority use cases, prioritize work into a backlog and factor in cross-LOB needs, leverage metrics to define business benefits and success metrics, and track execution through to delivery of the benefits/outcomes. Key partners for delivery include LOB & Operations SMEs, Technology, Business Process Management, Business Readiness & Communications, and other platform business owners (core workflow, systems of record, etc.).

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of agile product management experience
  • Thorough understanding of the Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) businesses
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience including product manager or scrum master role in agile methodology
  • Demonstrated success with prioritizing and delivering agile capabilities including eSignature, eNotary, eVault, Document Exchange, Data Extraction, and other eCapabilities related to digital documentation
  • Hands-on experience with vendor platforms DocuSign and
  • Experience managing financials & metrics-driven benefits for an enterprise technology capability
  • Hands-on experience with vendor platforms Kofax KTM/KTA, Open Text, AEM
  • Prior professional usage of JIRA and PAC2000
  • Experience overseeing 15-20 concurrent, complex Technical implementations with a significant number of engagement points across business line, operations, and technology
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including Line of Business CEOs. Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to create a strong collaborative work environment and successfully develop partnerships in global team environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong business process management discipline and enforcement
  • Leads by example with positive energy, transparency, and influencing skills
  • Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced team members
