Senior Manager, Business Operations

Reporting to the VP of HSA Business Operations & Strategy, the Senior Manager is a strategic role that partners with the HSA team and key leaders across the Fidelity Health Group to develop, refine and execute on their strategic business objectives. This position will lead strategy, planning & decision support work for the HSA business.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • College degree required

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience; experience in financial services, benefits outsourcing or healthcare is preferred but not required

  • Management consulting experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or equivalent is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated success at working on teams that deliver complex strategic transformation and growth projects

  • Diversity of functional business experience desired


The Purpose of Your Role

The Health Savings Accounts (HSA) business is a high-growth business within Fidelity Healthcare Group. We help our clients address the mounting concern of the rising healthcare costs by providing a Health Savings Account solution that helps cover the near-term healthcare needs as well as to save for the future medical expenses, included those in retirement. The Responsibilities of this role will include facilitating business planning & strategy evaluations, analysis of the new strategic initiatives, reporting & communicating on the execution of the strategy.

Strategy & Planning

  • Drive regular evaluation of alignment between client needs & HSA business strategies

  • Explore new growth opportunities following market analysis and develop the business cases as necessary

  • Facilitate business planning & strategy re-evaluation discussions as necessary

  • Partner with appropriate groups to refine product vision and strategy

  • Drive alignment across the Senior Leadership team on strategic vision & direction

  • Provide inputs for financial & resource planning for across all functions

Reporting & Communication

  • Drive the creation & delivery of executive reviews and other written communication to report progress, achievement, key learnings & pivots

  • Tailor critical information to a variety of influential audiences

  • Conduct cross company sessions to educate partners on the HSA agenda and priorities
