Vice President, Health Care Carrier and Product Solutions

As Fidelity develops solutions at the intersection of Health and Financial Wellness, the insurance carrier channel has become a meaningful network for success. The Vice President, Carrier and Product Solutions will be responsible for navigating the insurance and benefits ecosystem on behalf of Fidelity. This leader will be tasked with accountability and leadership for multi-product revenue generating opportunities that capitalize on joint innovation, technology and distribution opportunities.


The Team

This role is essential to ensure Fidelity is able to successfully offer the right solutions to plan sponsors and ultimately participants. As the leader of this team, you will be expected to develop and execute on strategies that advance Fidelity's presence in the health and financial wellness industry by building positive relationships that support our brand in the marketplace.

  • Approximately 30% travel requirement.


The Expertise You Have

  • Minimum 10 - 12 years Insurance carrier expertise with an advanced background in underwriting, claims, actuarial and/or distribution.

  • Bachelor's Degree, minimum; Master's Degree and/or advanced Industry Designations preferred

  • Strong negotiating and contracting experience; familiarity with HIPAA preferred

  • Proven relationship management experience

  • Insurance Licensing Required - Life, Health, Accident; Property & Casualty

  • Your ability to maintain and develop relationships with insurers and other distribution partners, while monitoring and measuring performance against agreed service levels.

  • You perform Due Diligence research and evaluations to advise of business risks vs. value

  • Your advanced Consultative Selling skills and experience in selling complex products

  • You successfully represent the Fidelity solution during the sales and implementation process. Expert presentation abilities at all levels (e.g., administrative, peers, executives), verbal and non-verbal, internal and external.

  • You Serve as an escalation point for systemic critical issues

  • You lead at-scale negotiations and support business contracting to an agreement that codifies acceptable risk parameters

  • Your ability to develop, interpret and present detailed analytical reporting

  • Your leadership qualities including coaching, mentoring, displaying Fidelity's core values in all situations

  • Flexibility to perform both strategic and tactical work effectively; applying strategy to high impact messages/themes throughout on all phases of a deal.

  • Expert industry/competitor knowledge and ongoing “student of the business”

  • You will participate in the differentiation of Fidelity's image in the HR/Finance/Benefits community through thought leadership communications and formal presentations

  • Dedication to providing the best quality products and overall experience to clients and their participants
