Resource Consulting Group, Inc is an independently owned, TX-registered investment advisory and wealth management firm located in NW Austin.  Our fee-based firm is comprised of a hybrid model with an affiliation with a strong independent broker-dealer.  Our culture is professional yet relaxed with a shared passion to help our clients achieve their life goals.  Our team employs a consistent process for plan development, risk management and internal operations.  We are seeking an experienced Wealth Manager with a strong financial planning focus, business development and client relationship management skills, who wants to make a significant impact with a collaborative team.

 Primary Responsibilities

  • Financial plan input & preparation using eMoney & mind mapping software
  • Comprehensive plan presentations as the lead advisor with assigned clients
  • Research on client investments, tax data and/or EE benefits
  • Lead meetings with non-planning clients for periodic investment reviews
  • Take full ownership & responsibility for ongoing client communications, relationship-building & assurance that all plan recommendations are executed in a timely manner
  • Attend regularly scheduled internal wealth management & investment team meetings
  • Respond directly and promptly to client requests, assigning action steps to appropriate staff
  • Coordinate & interact with clients’ accountants, attorneys or other advisors
  • Proactively participate in client events and seek out new clients for the firm 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or Marketing
  • A practicing CFP® Certificant
  • 3-5 years of experience as a financial planner working with HNW clients
  • Extensive knowledge regarding wealth management, investments & various types of insurance
  • Helpful if software experience with Redtail, eMoney, Morningstar Advisor & Riskalyze
  • Strong communication, technical and presentation skills
  • Ability to patiently take on client emotions during investment market downturns or personal times of hardship or loss 

Compensation is negotiable and based upon one’s experience level.  Total compensation is comprised of base salary, quarterly incentive pay, employer retirement contributions and discretionary year-end profit sharing.  Future equity ownership may be considered based upon various criteria.
