Fortitude Re is looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer that has worked in an enterprise setting previously. Your day to day tasks will be working with both the business and internal IT teams to automate as much of our daily operations as possible. One day you could be working on automating a critical business process, and the next could be automating the deployment process for a mainframe application. The ideal candidate will need to work as part of a small team in a fast paced environment.

What we're looking for:

  • 2 years enterprise CI/CD experience
  • AWS CI/CD tooling experience (CodeCommit/Pipeline/Build/Deploy)
  • Experience with Linux environment CI/CD practices
  • System and application deployment automation experience
  • Git based version control experience
  • Experience with Jira triggered CI/CD
  • Experience with configuration management platforms
  • Experience with automated java testing practices
  • Background with agile development practices
  • Experience with translating business requirements to automation workflows
  • Experience with enterprise change management
  • Knowledge of mainframe a plus but not required
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Improve deployment timelines of exisiting applications as well as develop new application pipelines
  • Split time between operational and project based tasks
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment
