The Sr. Manager of Competitive Intelligence & Planning will provide interesting research and actionable insights for Fidelity's Health Care Group.

 

The Team

The Competitive and Market Intelligence team within the Health Care Group is a small but impactful team focused on enabling/harnessing our greatest competitive advantage.  We accomplish this goal by researching and analyzing shifts in the strategic focus areas of competitors and changes to the healthcare industry trends.  It is incumbent upon us to highlight these shifts and opportunities to the Health Care Group's leadership team and those business partners impacted.

 

The Expertise You Have

  • College degree required

  • MBA preferred

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in product, consulting or market research

  • Expert level PowerPoint skills

  • Experience in a financial services / healthcare organization is a strongly preferred

The Value You Deliver

The successful person in this role will be a self-starter with "investigative journalist" skills, have excellent communication and a strong ability to synthesize and share insights in ways that are meaningful to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • You will be responsible for various research initiatives and ongoing competitive intelligence efforts

  • Develop and publish competitive deep dive analysis of existing and emerging competitors

  • Drive the creation & delivery of executive reviews and other written communications to report progress, achievement, key learnings

  • Facilitate business planning & strategy re-evaluation discussions as necessary

  • Provide inputs for financial & resource planning for across all functions
