Business Analyst - Life Operations

Your Future Team

You will be working with a highly talented team of individuals to support AIG's Core Life Policy Administration platform, ALIP. In this role you will be responsible for working with internal clients across the company as the subject-matter expert for ALIP. Responsibilities range from responding to and analyzing questions submitted from users related to policy questions to documenting problems and working with the IT Delivery team to develop solutions. You will also be part of the UAT testing team helping to validate and confirm changes made to ALIP. You will have the opportunity to identify problems or areas where improvements can be made and assist in developing those solutions, working with both IT and the business partners from idea to delivery.

  • Assist business users with questions, help identify and troubleshoot probllems, document issues and work with IT on change requests
  • Assist in performing UAT testing for changes delivered to ALIP. Work with various business owners to communicate status and document issues
  • Frequent communicate with internal stakeholders

What we are looking for

  • 2-3 years of insurance experience, with exposure to ALIP a plus
  • Broad understanding of the legal and regulatory environments surrounding insurance claims
  • Knowledge of and experience working with ALM, AWD, SAP and other internal AIG systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially with internal stakeholders
  • An individual who is innovative and forward thinking and proactively identifies and champions improvement projects
