Primary responsibilities in this role involve bank draft or electronic funds transfer requests, and associated processes on Life Insurance and Accident & Health products within AIG's Core, In-force organization.



The responsibilities you own include:


  • Process routine to complex ABC transactions (bank draft or electronic funds transfer) utilizing AWD, ALIP and/or Vantage
  • Research and analyze inquiries from the Agent/Broker, or account holder regarding ABC transactions
  • Resolve customer concerns or Agent/Broker concerns
  • Research transactions, and contact Agent/Broker or customer to obtain missing information or verify unclear information
  • Communicate effectively, in a variety of methods with both internal and external customers
  • Provide assistance in the completion of escalated cases submitted by all departments concerning ABC functions
  • Maintain accurate, and well-documented electronic case files
  • Execute processes to ensure we meet Service Level expectations
  • Provide assistance and advice to other sites for ABC processes, and worktypes
  • Research and resolve suspense items for reconciliation purposes

The requirements you will need include:


  • Two to four years of relevant experience. Insurance industry preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Some college preferred.
  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, document imaging programs, and the utilization of financial industry platforms.
  • The ability to learn new systems as required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and/or handle shifting priorities
  • Good interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to interact with other team members, and interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and make decisions. Must have initiative to take responsibility for work assigned and complete it with minimal supervision.
