Day to day management of relationships with asset managers (portfolio managers, analysts, hedge fund managers, pension funds, RIAs, traders) ensuring that firm research is disseminated and company management teams are introduced to appropriate clients. Research is both quantitative, (driven by proprietary platform specifically addressing stock analysis, factor construction and analysis, portfolio construction and analysis and risk management) and qualitative, (third party global macro and sector themes).


•             Provide daily research calls to assigned accounts.

•             Develop account relationships with portfolio managers, analyst, hedge fund managers, traders that have the potential for daily/weekly trading business with the Firm.

•             Coordinate travel schedule of analysts and company management into the assigned regions.

•             Penetrate potential new clients through appropriate selective deployment of research platform. Sale is consultative. Meetings with appropriate Company team members is key.

•             Provide timely feedback to team of client interaction, comments, concerns, etc. to ensure the highest level of performance on behalf of the Firm.

•             Continually monitor research application for developments, industry impacts, and related news items to accurately inform accounts of events that could impact their holdings.

Education, Training and Experience

•             Bachelor's degree

•             MBA or CFA preferred

•             FINRA Series 7/63 licensed 

•             Institutional Equity account experience desired

•             Experience in financial products for at least three years


Physical Demands and Work Environment

In office for morning meetings, research calls, etc. Travel primarily for client visits, analyst visits, totaling 30% to 40% of total work hours. Morning research meeting begins at 8:00. Required to be on the desk between 7:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.
