PURPOSE OF JOB:
Manage all aspects of moderate to complex projects to ensure the achievement of project goals and tactical business results. Develop project plans, schedules and budgets, identify needed resources; may manage multiple projects at one time depending on scope and coordinates the activities of several project teams utilizing own project plan including supervision of more junior Project Managers with other plans feeding into the project .May Supervise other Project Management staff.

Manages project planning and execution.Works with vendors, internal client management, project team members and stakeholders to define project scope, resource requirements, budget, timeline, deliverables and milestones.Manages the definition and refinement of project objectives and tasks and, on an ongoing basis, evaluates various courses of action and selects the most effective alternative to attain project goals.Manages projects through all phases of the development life cycle, including project initiation, requirements and specifications, design, construction, testing, installation and post implementation review.Facilitate/participate in key Agile rituals across Scrum teamsCoach team members as neededCommunicate project risksMonitor and report on key Agile performance metrics to leadership team
Identifies/reviews organization's risk management policies and procedures, assesses stake holder's risk tolerance levels and identifies preliminary risk for project viability. Manages risk throughout the life cycle of the project and makes contingency plans to manage issues that pose risk to budget, time delivery or functionality. Balances identified risk against project benefits.
Determines the detailed information requirements of the project stakeholders and the
project/organization and develops feedback routines to ensure two-way communication. Determines the requirements for project time reporting, develops a communications management plan, and establishes project status reporting process and cycle.
May provides supervision to other Project Management staff including performance management and evaluations.Prepares and manages budgets.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree6-9 years of experience as project manager in the ITindustry including management of moderate to complex projects.2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Project ManagerCertified Scrum Master (CSM)Professional certification in program or project management from Project Management Institute (PMI) or other recognized certifying authority preferred.Experience guiding other project managers or project technical leads.Experience setting and managing budgets and timelines.Experience managing multiple projects.Management experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Knowledge of development methodologies, project planning and risk/issue management.Strong interpersonal, organizational, & time management skills.Familiar with SystemDevelopment Life Cycle.Familiar with multiple SDLC methodologies such as waterfall and agile.Conflict resolution.Familiarity with Project management Software applicationsExcellent team building and coaching skills
