The Risk Management Associate services the insurance and risk management needs of the residential properties of high net worth clientele. On a monthly basis, complete a specified number of client visits as well as replacement cost valuation and loss prevention reports for use by underwriters, agents and clients. Demonstrate proficiency in managing and evaluating: water damage potential; catastrophe exposures; historic residences; homes under construction or renovation and more. Develop relationships with partner brokers, support underwriting and marketing growth opportunities and strategies in the assigned geographic region/territory, identify and communicate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Demonstrate solid understanding of AIG PCG products, coverages, competition and be capable of articulating the difference between AIG and other insurance carriers to clients and brokers.

As a Full-Time Associate, you will enhance business acumen and gain insight into the insurance industry. Associates work within a business or function and gain broad exposure to their particular areas of interest. The program is an exclusive and competitive track for graduates from all degrees and disciplines. Associates are exposed to the company's global nature almost immediately. At the start of the program, all global participants convene for orientation and training. In addition to the experience acquired on the job, Analysts participate in global training that will help them learn and become accustomed to and integrated into the culture of AIG. Furthermore, Associates will receive detailed performance feedback and will experience invaluable networking opportunities with both junior- and senior-level AIG employees across multiple divisions. Considerable emphasis is placed on training and development to help build both soft and technical business skills. The appropriate candidate will assist with servicing the insurance and risk management needs of the residential properties of high net worth clientele in the Northern California and the surrounding territory. They will also demonstrate a desire to understand AIG Consumer Lines products, coverages, and competition and be capable of articulating the difference between AIG and other insurance carriers to clients and brokers.

Job Requirements:
Required: Minimum grade point average of 3.2 (unofficial transcript required upon application) Bachelors or Master's degree, or candidate for Bachelors or Master's degree to be received no later than June 2018. A valid driver's license. Preferred: AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.
