Self-Service Operations Manager

• Support existing Self Service orchestration infrastructure
o Monitoring and log reporting for infrastructure systems/appliances
o Perform routine maintenance and patching for infrastructure systems/appliances
o Monitoring utilization to provide right-sizing/expansion of systems as required
• Enablement of Chef recipes in the existing self-service infrastructure
o Creation of additional workflows to support the inclusion of Chef recipes and the agent itself
o Modify existing workflows to utilize new Chef recipes
o Coordinate with 3rd party resources to develop/test/deploy Chef workflows in orchestration application
o Provide ongoing support of Orchestration workflows
• Maintaining existing orchestration workflows for Self Service
• Review/Test additional orchestration applications and tools
• Expand existing self service offerings
o Latest operating system from RedHat/Microsoft
o Latest database versions/configurations
o Latest middleware(IIS/Apache/Tomcat/WAS)
o Allow for multi-role performance and configurations
• Provide operational support for Self Service guest work loads
o Provide monitored ticketing queue for incidents and requests
o Establish and meet SLAs to providing support to the lines of business
o Create and implement operational support process
o Track and report both utilization and incidents/requests/changes
• Participate in New Technology Implementation
o Certify all new hardware
o Certify all new operating systems
o Initial validation of all new tools and potential orchestrators.
o Provide initial proof of concepts for all infrastructure appliances/components
o Work closely with other infrastructure teams to allow/restrict access to LAB infrastructure applications
o Monitor existing lab infrastructure to maintain security standards provided by SECOPS
o Provide POC environment based on requirements from the lines of business
o Will require close coordination and collaboration with Service Now development, Public cloud architects and Operations teams.
o Must have solid understanding and preferred certification from Microsoft -MCSE/MCSA.
o Must have knowledge of VMware platform and architecture.
o Preferred at least 5 years of management experience leading others.
o Clear and precise communicator, including creation and delivery of presentations to senior leadership.
o Bachelor's Degree
