As a member of our New Business management group, you will manage employees in the Operations team whose primary role is to work with various financial services that impact their client's annuities. This position reports to an Officer in the SARM Operations Team. You will manage a team of 9 FTE that work closely with internal and external customers and other departments researching alternative approaches to meet the client needs.

  • Exhibit strong management and leadership skills.
  • Manage the performance and production of a processing team.
  • Provide operational guidance and direction for the team
  • Understanding and working knowledge of all the policies and procedures of the department within a six month time span
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and resolving inquiries via the phone or written correspondence
  • Identify, research and resolve complex monetary or data discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner using error and control reports
  • Monitors the daily productivity and quality numbers for the team to ensure department standards are adhered to
  • Maintain process integrity within the team

  • Write and administer Annual Performance Reviews
  • Ensuring that Succession Planning is in place
  • Build internal and external relationships to facilitate administration of service delivery.

  • Knowledge of the retirement savings industry
  • Strong business acumen to support decision making and execution of winning strategies and tactics in a fast paced and dynamic service environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 3-5 years of Industry related experience
