Responsible for reconciling and clearing suspense via Journal Entries for over 30 General Ledger accounts. Create suspense for New Business teams to process. Work with numerous operational and business teams in identifying discrepancies in a timely manner to avoid or mitigate gain/loss. Serve as the control function in reporting and escalating issues, working with operations areas to establish controls where risks have been identified. Provide training where required, work with the auditors in providing requested materials and seek automation opportunities.

Job Requirements

An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business related area. College preferred; experience may substitute.

• 1 - 2 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Access programs. Must have the ability to manipulate data between various administrative systems and Microsoft programs.

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to multitask and have a high attention to detail.

• Must be able to follow precise accounting procedures and effectively process requests.

• Strategic and analytical problem solving skills, successful at managing and meeting project deadlines
