  • Send group email to all with Resident licenses
  • Send group email to all with non-resident licenses
  • Repeat process above will advisors have taken care of their licenses
  • Check/handle work queue
  • License renewals
  • License requests
  • Check that a U4 amendment or existing registration accompanies all license requests
  • U4 Amendments
  • State Registrations
  • Exam Windows
  • Name Change
  • NIPR must also be updated, send instructions if needed
  • Assist Advisors with CE
  • Find out how many hours advisor needs before (s)he can renew
  • Send email updates at 15 day mark for deficient advisors
  • We typically use Dhorn, however there are other vendors available
  • Provide very basic level guidance for Long Term Care (LTC) requirements
  • How to find classes on RegEd
  • Clearcert info for the states
  • Assist Advisors with obtaining Appointments
  • Send instructions on how to check current appointments
  • Send instructions on how to find internal appointment forms
  • Direct advisors to VFA to handle appointment
  • Remind them training through ATP will be required for any appointments they obtain
  • Annual Compliance and Firm Element
  • Pull lists of advisor completion
  • Provide instructions and guidance to advisors
  • Help advisors reinstate lapsed license
  • Review and provide info on any potential CE requirements
  • Exam and IAR assistance
    • Order materials
    • Provide IAR report to DMs
