The primary role of this position will be to provide Trading Operations and Order Room support for E*TRADE’s retail customer trading activity in the US equity and futures markets.
The Senior Broker will act as an intermediary between E*TRADE’s front-end systems, middle/back office, and Order Management Systems (OMS).

· Review and process customer orders based on proprietary risk-based standards
·Collaborate with Customer Service and Trade Specialist teams to address customer trading inquiries
·Provide internal trade support to E*TRADE’s Customer Service teams by phone, email, and chat
·Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business and technology partners to help troubleshoot trade- and order-related customer issues
·Receive inbound phone calls from market centers and exchanges regarding order routing and trade reversals
·Facilitate effective order routing and order management utilizing proprietary OMS and related software
·Provide input and insight related to process improvement.
·Monitor and evaluate system performance.
·Handle intra departmental escalations utilizing sound judgment and decision-making
·Provide subject matter expertise relating to E*TRADE’s trading systems and US market structure
·Review and resolve reconciliation exceptions on trade- and order-related blotters and reports
·Uphold strict risk-management principles at all times to protect E*TRADE’s customers and the Firm
· Work evening and overnight hours, including US holidays.
·Demonstrated ability to function independently, as well as part of a team, with accuracy and consistency in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
·Extensive knowledge of equity/option/futures markets.
· Must have the ability to multitask, manage and mitigate risk to the firm by utilizing sound business judgment.
·Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
·Must have a demonstrated ability to acquire skills quickly, operate in fast-paced environment, and be able to work well under pressure.
·Demonstrated initiative in acquiring new skills/knowledge, and willingness to participate in ad hoc assignments as needed
·Extensive knowledge of the securities industry, including specific knowledge in the areas of trading, margin, account analysis, order entry/execution, reorganizations and P&S.
·Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
·Demonstrated organizational skills.
·Excellent judgment and problem solving skills required to handle and resolve high-risk items.
·Knowledge regarding the regulatory landscape and environment for the securities industry
·Education or training equivalent to: BA/BS preferably in business administration, finance, math or related field.
·Must have FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses
· Ability to work flexible shift assignments to support Order Management Team 2nd Shift 5:00pm-1:00am Central Time
