The Tax Exempt VP Managing Director provides strategic planning and consulting to Higher Education, HealthCare and other non-profit organizations in order to help them maximize the value of their retirement program and ensure their satisfaction with Fidelity. Working remotely is acceptable for this candidate. Preferred locations include: Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Salt Lake.


The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10 years of Industry Experience

  • 7 years of Experience working directly with Institutional Clients and/or Participants 

  • Series 7 & 63 licenses or ability to obtain within 3 months

  • Ability to travel 50% within West Coast Region

The Purpose of Your Role

The role is responsible for maintaining and building the highest level client relationships with key decision makers, influencers and C-suite members. You would manage a book-of-business that includes a smaller number of large strategic clients with high dollar and more complex plans. The Fidelity line of business is primarily DC, but can include additional products and services.  You would lead an internal team of service-based associates and partner across the organization to solve client problems and create solutions for client needs. The primary goals include protecting the Fidelity brand, client retention and revenue generation.

  • Driving client satisfaction and loyalty via NPS

  • Developing a comprehensive, relationship management strategy, including business planning, for your book of business

  • Proactively educating and managing consultants in multivendor relationships to position for consolidation in TEM

  • Creating opportunities to diversify revenue via cross selling, PASw, HSA, SDB, RHTS, FHM and consulting opportunities

  • Annual Business planning and service reviews to be sure we understand client's goals and objectives

The VP Managing Director is a critical role and has overall accountability for client retention, client satisfaction and growth of an assigned book of clients. You are the “voice” and “face” of Fidelity and represent the Fidelity brand in a manner that aligns with Fidelity's core values.
