This A&E Analyst IV position is responsible for handling a pending caseload of approximately 150 architects & engineers professional liability claims of moderate to signicant complexity and approximately 10-15 new claims each month. Primary responsibilities include providing superior customer service, directing investigations, managing litigation, analyzing coverage, preparing coverage position letters, formulating / documenting claim handling and resolution strategies. managing counsel and experts to control expenses and working closely with counsel and experts to evaluate losses and reach cost effective claim resolutions. Individual will need to collaborate with underwriting partners on existing claims and trends to support business efforts and make presentations to both claim and underwriting management. Position requires periodic travel to attend client service meetings, mediations and trials. Candidate will preferably have 3-5 years experience in the handling of professional liability claims, 4 year college degree, proficient computer skills, construction industry knowledge and excellent communication skills (both written and oral) to effectively and professionally interact with brokers, insureds, counsel and other industry professionals. Multi-state adjuster licenses and/or JD preferred.
