Payroll Account Executive (PAE)

 

Fidelity Investments Payroll Services is looking for individuals who display strong self-leadership, have a consultative selling approach and enjoy selling in a high-activity sales role.  We're on the move and invite you to become part of our dynamic sales team!

 

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Bachelors' degree

  • 3-5 years in a quota driven Payroll sales position within the last five years

  • Prior experience using SalesForce.com application a plus.
  • Position does not support SEC licensing

The Purpose of Your Role

A top-down sales approach targeting CEO's and decision makers to convert prospects into clients in an assigned regional territory (Central southeastern U.S.). This position is based on our Covington, KY campus.

The Skills You Bring

  • Strong prospecting, presentation and closing skills with the ability to achieve assigned monthly quota

  • Must have excellent prospecting and new business development skills

  • Strong organizational skills, focus and execution are keys to success in a remote environment    

  • Excellent public speaking skills needed for high volume phone tasks (annunciation, grammar, diction)

The Value You Deliver

  • Managing the entire sales process including, prospecting, pricing, documentation and transitioning business to the Implementation team. Working as a team with Solution Consultants who will support your presentations.

  • Managing your assigned territory to provide maximum sales effectiveness.

  • High use of phone and e-mail campaigns to produce self generated appointments 

  • Based on location and prospect size, most sales will be conducted in a virtual environment utilizing the internal sales tools we provide to all sales associates.

  • Your main focus will be with companies ranging from 30 employees to 400 employees.

  • You will collaborate with Retirement, Benefit Sales and Financial Advisors in an effort to cross sell our bundled payroll, Benefits and 401(k) solution. 

  • You will support Managing Directors and their 401(k) clients interested in our payroll services.

  • Intermittent travel required for sales calls, training and sales meetings (25% or less).

How Your Work Impacts the Organization

Fidelity Payroll Services provides a key role in further supporting our 401(k) clients by fully integrating the Payroll, Benefits and Retirement needs of our clients.  Services include:  Recruiting, Core HR, Payroll Benefits Administration, Talent, Time & Attendance and Affordable Care Act reporting.  As a fee based service, we help companies manage the hire to retire process.
