Position description:

We have an excellent opportunity for an Executive Administrative Assistant to join the Life & Retirement organization in New York. You will primarily be responsible for providing administrative support for the Head of Strategy and his team and the Chief Innovation and Data officer and her team

Responsibilities will include:

  • General office support
  • New hire set ups
  • Booking and managing travel
  • Processing of external invoices and intercompany charges
  • Expense processing and providing guidance to ensure compliance with the AIG Expense Policy
  • Conference room/phone/AV set ups
  • Troubleshooting
  • Drafting meeting minutes
  • Data entry, photocopying, printing, etc.
  • Liaising with other support functions such as the IT Helpdesk, Conference Center, etc.
  • Software License Renewals

Position requirements:

  • Must have strong computer and technology skills
  • Advanced MS office suite skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Advanced skills in Outlook calendar and email management
  • Previous experience in a financial services or insurance environment helpful
  • Two to five years office experience, five years preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Self-starter who must be able to follow through on projects; ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Proactive contributor with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Education Required: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience Required: Minimum 3-5 years
