AIG has an opportunity for a Production Specialist Senior in Commercial Property, Middle Market and E&S division, in the great Lakes territory, mostly in Cleveland / Columbus / Kentucky area.
Candidates are expected to work effectively in a team environment to develop broker and portfolio strategies and in an independent manner to profitably manage a book of new and renewal business. A Production Specialist must be able to illustrate sufficient technical analysis and underwriting acumen combined with marketing and sales skills to meet production underwriting goals: i.e. achieve growth targets and maintain loss and expense ratios.


The key responsibilities of this position are as follows:


Plan, portfolio manage and technically evaluate risks to help achieve extensive Middle Market growth.


Building and executing on a personal strategy for P&L management of their book of business along with sharing best in class strategies with the team. This includes setting up a broker plans, target account lists and being strategic on poor performing accounts.


Qualifications:
An Insurance professional with a minimum 2 years experience in Commercial Property. The candidate must have the ability to underwrite a variety of property risks including but not limited to healthcare, real estate, manufacturing and education. Position requires ability to underwrite 100% and primary/shared and layered structures. Relationships with 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier brokers along with a strong understanding of current market conditions are preferred.


Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook required. Strong communication skills are necessary.
