*POSITION SUMMARY

* AIG seeks to hire a Senior Project Manager for our General Insurance Automation & Business Design (GIABD) team. We are executing on a company-wide effort to reinvent the way we achieve operational efficiencies, support business growth and engage with our customers. As part of this, we are seeking an individual to: Drive business design and automation projects through to completion. Ensure benefits management is owned by the sponsor and impacted business area from initiation through to benefit realization Perform Agile project planning, monitoring, and managing for initiatives related to redesigning and / or automating Underwriting and Claims processes globally Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders

* This position reports to the Business Design and Automation Engagement Lead and is part of GIABD team.

*Performance Objectives:

* Lead automation and business design projects and portfolios from inception through to delivery Perform end-to-end reviews of current state operations and business process analysis to identify opportunities and solutions to pain points, inefficiencies and low-value added activities. Identify opportunities to leverage process reengineering and/or technology to optimize our processes Work with business and IT teams to design and make recommendations on reengineering the processes, and identifying technology enablers for more streamlined processes Engage with key stakeholders and subject matter expertise across the organization to identify additional areas for improvement Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones and deliverables within an Agile environment Account for the delivery of large projects with respect to appropriate levels of quality, timeliness and budget Ensure that projects / programs have structured plans, RAID Logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) and governance in place Achieve project milestones through regular cross-functional project meetings to review schedule status and highlight issues Identifying, communicating and helping facilitate cross team collaboration; ensure conflict resolution and risk mitigation due to change / transformation challenges Designing, monitoring and reporting metrics for key projects; continuously manage objectives, and hold project team members accountable for delivery Undertake regular work stream / project / steering meetings, documenting and following up on tasks and issues identified Assisting with product briefs, crafting user stories and roadmap development

*The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

* A proven track record in delivering change and transformation projects within a large corporate environment and their associated benefits to an agreed timeline, budget and quality Knowledge and practical experience of implementing business and organizational redesign initiatives; experience as well with automation technologies in high volume environments would be advantageous Ability to work with minimum direction independently and in a team oriented environment Experience building strong, meaningful relationships and communicating project expectations and status with senior Internal and External Stakeholders; demonstrated written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills Ability to deliver in Agile projects and experience with scrum techniques Ability to identify and manage scope creep, dependencies, critical path, risks, issues, and devise contingency plans Capability to apply critical thinking to project situation, make judgment calls to establish direction for resolution, oversee the resolution plan, and present status and impacts to key project stakeholders Comfortable working in collaboration with developers and IT resources on a daily basis Proven track record of delivering projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing requirements Managing projects with multiple dependencies as part of large program initiative is essential At least 7 years of experience in insurance claims or underwriting, either technical or operational At least 5 years of experience in Agile project planning, monitoring and management At least 5 years of experience in tracking team projects from initiation using project management tools At least 5 years of experience in designing, monitoring and reporting metrics for key projects Bachelor's Degree
