AIG hasanopportunity for a RegionalAccountEngineer in its CommercialPropertyEngineering Division. The key responsibilities for this position areas follows: Provide engineering oversighttotheregionalunderwritingofficeforhighlimit property accounts, as well as completion of AccountSummaryReportsforprospectivenew business and renewal accounts. Support underwriterswithhigh limit submissions by establishingaccountMFL'sto determine underwritingcapacity,risk ratingsto determine quality ofriskandevaluate mandatory recommendation compliance, loss control serviceneedsand costs. Provide engineering servicesthatenhance underwriting performance byhelping reduce overall accountloss potential, improve accountrisk quality through riskassessmentsandrisk improvement consultations, and intheacquisitionofgoodqualitynew business. Manage theproperty engineering ClientServiceProcess(CSP)includingserviceplan development, service coordination, report reviews, recommendation handling, stewardshipoftheaccount, etc. The CSP bestpracticeis critical toLexingtonPropertyrenewalstrategiesfor Lexingtonhigh limit and key accounts. Assign work toserviceproviderpartners,review completed reports, provide technicalloss control assistance to engineers, service providers& clients, perform marketing functions fornew& renewal business, and performadditionaljobfunctionsasoutlinedin the Property Division Quality Management System. Conduct rushfieldsurveys,as required
The Ideal Candidate would possess the following:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering
• At least 5+ years
• Broad knowledge in loss control and experienced in performing property field surveys of .
