Business Sr Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the travel program of work for dedicated clients. Act as the key liaison between the business, local O&S, Travel IT and the distribution partner to analyze business requirements and recommend, document and deliver best practices, at the least cost, to interface with Travel systems/applications, claims/assistance, and AIG finance systems. Provide a central point of contact and coordination for all travel insurance distribution requirements within region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Day-to-day management and contact person for the travel program of work
o Assist the country teams in researching and documenting local business requirements for travel applications and the connectivity of those applications to internal Travel and/or AIG systems.
o When necessary, compiling business requirement documentation and managing the process thereafter.
o Continually advise and seek ways to improve and grow global partnerships with travel insurance distribution channels.
o Assist the business development team in opportunities and identification of potential distribution partners.
o Assist in the RFP process. Prepare and participate in presentations, support and manage the technical integration discussions with potential partners.
o Consult with business area management regarding technical alternatives or enhancements that are consistent with business strategy. Interact with business users in carrying out these responsibilities.
o Make recommendations to improve or enhance processes or procedures. Streamline relationships between country team and home office personnel.
o Evaluate business requests for new or reengineered applications to determine their feasibility, the cost and time they will require and compatibility with current systems, architecture standards and travel strategy.
o Provide support, analysis and training to the local and regional teams in the implementation and utilization of the Travel Insurance XML interface (to host engine) with internal and external distribution systems.
o Coordinate and proactively manage appropriate deployment schedules with internal and external stakeholders
o Participate in the compilation of user test plans and facilitate creation of user test case scenarios for new and existing implementations; analyze and report results to ensure correct functionality delivered.
o Update and distribute weekly status and dashboard status.
