We are helping transform AIG by balancing the art of decision-making with advanced and rigorous usage of data. Our goal is to make AIG more data-driven and accelerate performance improvement and business innovations at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, global insurance, and finance.

We are looking for a top-notch strategic thinker and data science expert that can lead teams of data scientists in high profile initiatives

What you will do:

  • Own critical and fast-paced initiatives
  • Manage and develop a team of highly talented data scientist
  • Build relationships with senior executives across AIG and partner with them to identify, design, develop and deploy data-driven solutions
  • Create robust, testable, and scalable solutions that leverage AIG's wealth of data to address some of its most critical priorities
  • Provide both high-level executive insights and deep detail across a variety of solutions
  • Apply key data science techniques (Statistics, Machine Learning, NLP) to the appropriate problems
  • Explore opportunities in cutting edge fields like AI and Intelligent Automation

  • You can anticipate technology infrastructure needs and challenges (e.g. compute, storage, security, privacy, connectivity) and can partner with the right teams to solve them
  • You have a record of commitment and excellence:
    • You have excelled in your previous jobs and education
    • You have demonstrated drive (what accomplishment are you most proud of?)
    • You have tactfully dealt with sensitive situations involving a wide variety of conflicting opinions


  • 8+ years of experience in a combination of data science, strategy, analytics, technology, and/or management consulting roles
  • Refined communication and influencing skills adaptable to both technical and non-technical audiences, including global senior business leaders and functional managers
  • Achieved successful results in applying data science to high impact opportunities
  • Experience in managing teams in fast-paced environments - excellence in managing time and resources to drive projects to successful conclusions
  • Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning principles and methods
  • Significant experience with relevant programing languages (e.g. Python, R), visualization tools (e.g. Tableau/Qlikview), and/or advanced analytics packages
