AIG has an opportunity for an Underwriter in the Private Non-Profit Financial Lines Division in Chicago.

Performance Objectives
The key responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Marketing, underwriting, and servicing of Private and Not for Profit company Directors and Officers (D&O), Employment Practices (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, and Crime.
- Building and maintaining broker relationships
- Responsible for renewal retention, new business production and account rounding.
- Develop new business opportunities as well as develop cross-sell opportunities for other AIG divisions.

Position Requirements:

Candidate should have 1-2 years general insurance experience, a working knowledge of financial statements and/or experience in financial lines underwriting. Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, as well as strong marketing and negotiation skills. Candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
