Primary responsibilities include providing day-to-day legal advice and support to AIGRM executives, underwriters and other personnel with respect to transactional, legal, regulatory and compliance matters. Specific duties include providing legal support with regard to structuring loss sensitive programs, negotiating, drafting and/or reviewing insurance policies, endorsements, credit and collateral agreements or instruments, marketing material, and other ancillary documents related to loss sensitive accounts.
Position requires knowledge of and experience providing legal and regulatory support with loss sensitive accounts, credit and bankruptcy issues, collateral arrangements, group insurance, group captives, insurance regulatory issues and worker's compensation, general liability and automobile coverages. Additionally, the position requires the ability to interact with clients and brokers, with all levels of underwriting business partners, from senior executives to more junior underwriters, and with other legal teams within the company.
The position requires strong negotiating and communication skills. Admission to the bar is necessary. 3+ years experience with loss sensitive business at a law firm or company preferred.
