Analyzes and evaluates business needs and provides technical direction and recommendations to create or develop new functionality. Support business community and make recommendation on system support or application development.

Job Requirements:
Requirements This is a technical hand's on application subject matter expert position, with duties requiring an understanding of application security and SDLC processes. The candidate requires a strong understanding of Catastrophic Modeling and Capital Modeling Applications; at a conceptual level also an understanding of statistic is a plus Must be able to document, and deploy vendor modeling packages, this will include testing, use cases dataflow and management of vendor packages. A strong familiarity with imaging tools like ESRI (ArcGIS or Google Maps) running on a windows platform is a strong plus. Strong experience in SQL querying languages is required. Experience working with a continuous integration SDLC/Agile release model is required. Knowledge of cloud technologies and database tools, hosting is a strong plus. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with the development and business teams and to provide production support are required. Also working with shared services as well as the Modeling vendors is required. Ideally a candidate has worked as a hands on developer in the past, and now is looking for a challenge and to grow ones skill set, (the candidate needs to possess the skill of a Project Lead and a SME and to be self-motivated); training will be provided Certifications with various Catastrophic modeling platform tools is a plus but not required.
